No pre-registration or racing licenses are required. You simply purchase lap access via a digital ticket or the official Green Hell app and drive straight through the entry barriers onto the 21 km circuit in your road-legal car.

Because the Nordschleife operates under the German Road Traffic Act (StVO), safety guidelines are strictly enforced by track marshals:

• Overtaking: You must strictly overtake only on the left. Overtaking on the right is completely banned and will result in an immediate track ban.
